1. About VUGA Publishing

VUGA Publishing is a brand of VUGA Media Group LLC, a Florida limited liability company ("VUGA Media Group", "VUGA", "we", "us"). We are a marketing-first independent book publisher providing guaranteed editorial-feature placement services in major U.S. celebrity magazines and across the 104-outlet VUGA Enterprises owned digital network. We do not provide traditional retail-distribution services or royalty accounting on author-supplied titles. All contractual obligations described in these Terms are obligations of VUGA Media Group LLC.

2. Services Offered

Our author packages are described in detail on the For Authors page. As of the effective date, we offer:

• Trial Article — $97. One full editorial article on a standard outlet in the VUGA Enterprises digital network. The $97 is credited toward any package upgrade purchased within 30 days of the trial order.
• Spark — $997 (one-time) or Spark Annual — $9,997/year. Spark delivers 10 placements across the VUGA Enterprises digital network (standard outlets). Spark Annual delivers 120 placements (10/month for 12 months) plus a Year-End Reward of one free Bestseller-tier placement on month 13 if all 12 months are completed.
• Bestseller — $7,997. Spark + full editorial articles in Closer Weekly, In Touch Weekly, and Star Magazine.
• Authority — $14,997. Bestseller + full editorial articles in OK! Magazine and Hollywood Life.
• Premium magazine add-ons: Rolling Stone UK ($8,997), TIME ($14,997), or both bundled ($19,997 — saves $3,997).
• Premium TV-brand add-ons: Gossip Stone TV ($997), 24Fashion TV ($997), or both bundled ($1,497 — saves $497). These TV brands are not included in any standard package.

"Standard outlets" refers to the digital newspapers and magazines in the VUGA Enterprises network (network.html). Premium TV brands and tier-1 magazine add-ons are sold separately and are never bundled into Trial, Spark, Bestseller, or Authority unless explicitly stated above.

3. What Your Placement Guarantee Covers

Each placement in your package is delivered as a full original editorial article (typically 600–1,200 words), written by our editorial team and published on the listed magazine's actual digital domain. Placements are guaranteed by our existing distribution agreements with the named outlets. All placements are digital editions; we do not place into print issues, even for outlets that still print.

What is guaranteed:

• The placement itself — the published URL on the named magazine's domain.
• An original editorial article written to that magazine's editorial standards.
• A permanent, indexable live page (not a temporary pre-press URL).
• A backlink to your retailer page (Amazon, etc.).
• Delivery within the published delivery window for your tier.

If any of the above fails for a placement, you receive a full refund of that placement's portion of your order, or — at your election — we re-place the article on another outlet of equivalent or greater tier within 30 days at no cost to you.

4. What's Outside Our Guarantee

The placement is what we control. Sales of your book are not — they depend on your cover, hook, genre fit, retailer ranking, reviews, pricing, and reader behavior, none of which VUGA controls. We do not guarantee specific sales numbers, retailer rankings, royalty income, social-media follow-on, viral pickup, or any commercial outcome downstream of the placement. Press placement is one factor in a book's success — and we deliver it on time, every time. The rest is up to you and the market.

We make no promise that any individual placement will be the breakthrough moment — but the placements happen, and they happen at the outlet you paid for. That's the contract.

5. Payment

All packages are sold self-service online. Payment is processed at checkout. We accept major credit and debit cards. Spark Annual is billed in full at the time of purchase; it is not a recurring subscription that auto-renews — you choose to renew (or not) at the end of the 12-month term.

You agree to provide accurate billing information. Chargebacks initiated without first contacting us at [email protected] may result in account suspension and forfeiture of any in-progress placements.

6. Delivery Windows

Standard delivery times from the moment your book-info form is fully submitted:

• Trial Article: 7 days.
• Spark: 14 days.
• Bestseller / Authority: 30 days.
• Premium magazine add-ons (TIME, Rolling Stone UK): 30–45 days, depending on the outlet's editorial calendar.
• Premium TV-brand add-ons: 30 days.

Delivery starts when we have your final book information (cover image, retailer link, and a 200-word synopsis). We will notify you by email when each placement is live and include the URL.

7. Refund Policy

Placement-failure refund (the VUGA Promise above): 100% money-back for any placement we fail to deliver on the named outlet within the stated delivery window. No fine print, no debate.

Voluntary cancellation:

• Trial / Spark / Bestseller / Authority / magazine and TV add-ons: full refund within 24 hours of purchase if production has not started. Once articles enter our editorial queue, packages are non-refundable for voluntary cancellation because magazine slots are already committed (the placement guarantee still applies if we fail to deliver).
• Spark Annual: full refund within the first 30 days of purchase. After day 30 the year is paid in full; the placement guarantee continues to apply for every monthly delivery. If you cancel before completing all 12 months, the $7,997 Year-End Reward is forfeited.

Trial credit: the $97 Trial fee is credited toward any upgrade made within 30 days of the original order. After 30 days, the credit expires.

8. Your Content & Rights

You retain full ownership of your book and all original content you provide. By purchasing a package you grant VUGA a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use your book title, cover image, synopsis, author name (or pen name), retailer link, and any related materials you supply solely for the purpose of producing and publishing the editorial articles described in your order. This license is limited in scope to the placements; we make no claim to your manuscript, your retailer royalties, or your underlying intellectual property.

You represent and warrant that you have the legal right to submit the materials you provide and that they do not infringe on any third-party rights, contain defamatory content, or violate applicable laws. You are responsible for obtaining any consents required from co-authors, contributors, or rights-holders depicted on your cover.

9. Editorial Discretion

The editorial articles published as part of your package are written by VUGA's editorial team in the voice and style of the receiving magazine. We will share a draft for your factual review prior to publication. You may correct factual errors and verify spelling of names, titles, and links. You may not rewrite the article to read like marketing copy — final editorial style remains with VUGA and the receiving magazine, consistent with their editorial standards.

10. Magazine Editorial Standards & Re-Placement

Each receiving magazine has its own editorial calendar, voice, and content standards. Books that contain content the receiving magazine deems unsuitable (e.g., explicit sexual content for a celebrity-news outlet, defamatory political content) may be redirected to a different outlet of equivalent or greater tier within your package, with prior notice to you, at no additional cost. If no suitable outlet of equivalent tier is available, the placement guarantee applies and you receive a full refund of the affected placement.

11. Trademarks & Third-Party Marks

"VUGA," "VUGA Publishing," "VUGA Media Group," "VUGA Enterprises," "VUGA PR Services," "Gossip Stone TV," and "24Fashion TV" are trademarks of VUGA Media Group or its affiliates. References to TIME, Rolling Stone, Closer Weekly, In Touch Weekly, Star Magazine, OK! Magazine, Hollywood Life, and any retailer logos are used solely to identify those parties and do not imply endorsement. All third-party trademarks remain the property of their respective owners.

12. Limitation of Liability

Beyond the placement-guarantee refund described above, VUGA's total liability arising from any single order is limited to the amount paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages including, without limitation, lost profits, lost book royalties, lost goodwill, or reputational harm arising from a placement after publication. We are not responsible for the acts of third parties (search engines, retailers, social platforms) that may affect the visibility or persistence of placements after publication. Nothing in this section limits the placement-failure refund — that is your guaranteed remedy if we fail to deliver.

13. Privacy

We collect only the information needed to fulfill your order (name, email, billing details, book information). We do not sell or rent customer data to third parties. We share book metadata with the receiving magazines as necessary to publish the editorial articles. For questions about data, contact us at [email protected].

14. Governing Law & Disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes will be resolved by binding arbitration in Miami-Dade County, Florida, under the rules of the American Arbitration Association, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in any court of competent jurisdiction to protect intellectual-property rights. You waive any right to participate in a class-action proceeding.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. Material changes will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Orders placed before the change are governed by the version in effect at the time of purchase.
